Pooja Parekh

Pooja Parekh is the Director of Admissions at Harmony Montessori, where she has been associated with the school for approximately a decade. She brings a multidisciplinary background spanning entrepreneurship, hospitality, performing arts and creative design.

Before joining Harmony, Pooja pursued a career as a professional Latin ballroom dancer, an experience that shaped her understanding of discipline, commitment, expression and collaboration. Her professional interests also extend to the hospitality industry and entrepreneurship, where she has gained experience in leadership, operations and working closely with people.

Alongside her professional pursuits, Pooja has studied fashion, food and floral design, and has been involved in event conceptualisation and creative direction. These varied experiences have contributed to her understanding of aesthetics, organisation and human interaction.

As Director of Admissions, Pooja is often the first point of contact for families exploring Montessori education at Harmony. She oversees the admissions process, meets with prospective parents and helps families understand the school's educational philosophy and approach to child development. Her role involves understanding the individual needs and expectations of families while helping them make informed decisions about their child's education.

Through her work, Pooja brings together her experience in hospitality, creative disciplines and interpersonal relationships to create a thoughtful and welcoming introduction to the Harmony community.
