Drawn to education by the belief that working with children is working with the future, Teertha sees the adult's role as preparing an environment in which children can realise their potential through purposeful, independent work.
Her professional interests include mixed-age learning, freedom within limits and the importance of Practical Life in developing concentration, independence and responsibility. Her continuing education includes workshops in Integral Education, parent-child communication and a year-long programme of psychoanalysis for teachers.
As Primary Department Coordinator, she supports Montessori practice across Harmony's Primary classrooms through observation, teacher collaboration and pedagogical guidance. Her work remains grounded in the belief that in serving the child, we serve the future.
